Ecco Wellness' 4th Core is Emotional


Emotional wellness is a dynamic state that varies with the other dimensions of wellness. It is commonly defined as the ability to feel and express human emotions such as happiness, sadness, and anger.


It entails being able to love and be loved, as well as experiencing a sense of fulfillment in life. Emotional wellness includes optimism, self-esteem, self-acceptance, and the ability to express one's emotions.


Principles guiding the development of emotional well-being:

  • Pay attention to your thoughts and feelings.

  • Develop a positive attitude.

  • Seek and provide assistance

  • Improve your time management abilities.

  • Use stress-reduction techniques.

  • Acceptance and forgiveness of oneself
